One of the new video features being added to Facebook videos is a view counter. The view counter will keep track of the number of views that a public video has. Another new feature being added is relative videos being suggested after a video is watched, reports Variety.

These two new Facebook video features will be added to the social media website sometime this week. The new features were announced alongside news that the company was seeing 1 billion videos views a day. 65% of these views were on mobile platforms, Variety notes.

The new features are also accompanied by features for pages and publishers. One of these features allows publishers to see more data on their videos. This includes unique views and how long viewers watched videos, reports TechCrunch.

It’s interesting that Facebook sees 65% of video views come from mobile users. This could be due to the social media website’s auto-play feature on mobile devices. The feature has been blamed for using up mobile data, but it can also be turned off. Data available to publishers may shed some light on how many video views come from the auto-play feature.

FB shares were up slightly as of Monday afternoon.
