Beats: Apple (AAPL) and Southwest Airlines (LUV) are teaming up to bring Beats to some of the latter’s flights, reports MacRumors. The service will be available on Southwest flights that include Wi-Fi. It will be free to use and will work on devices running iOS, Google’s (GOOG) Android and several other devices. The service will allow passengers to listen to music and lists created by Beats’ curators. A live demonstration of the service was given in a 737 with the Beats logo on it.
Pro: A new series of rumors concerning Apple’s iPad Pro have been making their way around the web, AppleInsider notes. According to these rumors, the iPad Pro will have a 12.2-inch display and will be as thin as an iPhone 6. The rumors also claim that the device will have two additional speakers and another microphone. It’s rumored that the new device will enter manufacturing sometime in early 2015 and may run on a new version of iOS to take advantage of its screen size.
Sale: Those looking to pick up an iPhone 6 may want to wait a couple of weeks, reports BGR. A leaked flyer claims that Sam’s Club will be offering the 16GB version of the iPhone 6 for $99 with a contract. The sale is listed as starting on Nov. 15 and claims it will be the lowest price the retailer will offer for the device until the end of the year. The 64GB and 128GB versions of the iPhone 6 are also listed as going on sale and will have $100 knocked off of their normal prices when bought with a contract.
