Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg said that he has been considering adding a Dislike button to the social media network since 2010. However, he said it shouldn’t be used to vote against other users’ posts, reports Time.

Instead of just adding a Dislike button, Zuckerberg said he wants to do it in the right way. He wants users to be able to express themselves, but in such a way that it can’t be used for negative reasons, Time notes.

“Often people will tell us they don’t feel comfortable pressing ‘like,'” Zuckerberg told ABC News. “What’s the right way to make it so people can easier express a wide range of emotions?”

FB shares were up 1% as of Friday afternoon.
