The fake Watches were being sold by Hyperdon and are called the “Smart Watch.” The device costs $27 and includes a user interface almost exactly like what Apple showed off for its Watch four months ago. The smartwatch comes equipped with a pedometer, stopwatch, alarm and other features. It also has the ability to link up to iPhones and charges via a USB cable. The seller of the device claimed that it would last for 180 hours without needing a recharge.

Lawsuit: A lawsuit claiming that Apple purposefully uses faulty hardware in its MacBooks has been dismissed, AppleInsider notes. The lawsuit was dismissed by U.S. District Court Judge William Alsup because it didn’t prove that the plaintiffs bought their MacBooks due to Apple advertising. The plaintiffs claimed that the tech company still sells faulty logic boards with its MacBooks. One of the plaintiffs had to have their MacBook’s logic board replaced, but it was done so while the device was still under warranty.

Canada: A new rumor claims that Apple is preparing to launch its Pay service in Canada soon, reports 9to5Mac. The rumor cites several unnamed sources that are close to the matter. According to this rumor, the tech company may be ready to launch Pay in Canada as soon as March. If the March launch isn’t made, the rumor claims that the company is still aiming for some time int he first half of 2015. It’s possible that the expansion of Pay in Canada could take place alongside the Apple Watch, which has a rumored March release.
