iOS: A new report from Apple (AAPL) shows that more devices have adopted iOS 8, reports MacRumors. According to the report, iOS 8 has now been installed on 68% of compatible devices. This has adoption of iOS 8 up 5% when compared to last month. The data also shows that 29% of devices are still running iOS 7 and that 4% are running an earlier version of the mobile operating system.
China: Apple has revealed its second store in China to have a glass cylinder for an entrance, AppleInsider notes. The scaffolding around the glass store entrance was pulled down recently and showed off the new structure. The new store is being built in Chongqing. Another store with a similar design is currently located in Shanghai. The glass area won’t actually serve as the store, but will instead include an elevator and staircase that leads to an underground facility. The Shanghai location is set up in a similar manner.
Watch: A new demo for the Apple Watch has been released by news app Pipes, reports 9to5Mac. The demo can be loaded up via a web browser and shows off several features of the upcoming smartwatch. The demo allows users to select different apps to experiment with and choosing those apps will take the user to a demo. These demos are mostly just static images, but some also have other features. One app allows users to play music while another allows them to look through a collection of sample pictures.
