Here are your Apple Rumors for today:

apple-rumors-iphone-6s-iphone-6c-release-aapliPhone: A source that claims to have experienced Force Touch on an iPhone 6s are weighing in on the feature, reports 9to5Mac. This source claims that the new Force Touch feature for the iPhone 6s will allow users to access shortcuts easily. The feature is reportedly being called “Orb” internally and is represented in three different ways. One is no new interface appearing, another is a small circle of options appearing around the finger and the third is bringing up a list of options at the bottom of the display. The new feature reportedly works with Apple Maps, Music and more.

iPad: A new rumor claims that the iPad Pro will be released sometime in September of this year, Digital Trends notes. This new rumor specifically claims that the iPad Pro will see a Sept. 9 launch. According to the rumor, this will have the device launching alongside the next generation of AAPL’s iPhones. However, this rumor contradicts previous ones that claim the iPad Pro wouldn’t enter mass production until the end of September.

Launch: Apple may be planning to release an iPhone 6c with its iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, reports AppleInsider. This new rumor comes from Evan Blass, who has an accurate record when it comes to predicting the tech company’s plans. It’s possible that AAPL may choose to announce the three rumored iPhones at an event that is expected to be held on Sept. 9. An update to the iPhone c line would be the first one made since 2013 with the release of the iPhone 5c. There’s little in the way of information regarding a possible iPhone 6c, including specs for the device or its possible size.
