Uber Adds New Safety Features for Drivers

Uber is updating its app in nine cities to enhance its services.

UberThe company will be focusing on why drivers are getting bad ratings with a software that offers new methods to determine if employees are employing the proper safety features and behaving well.

Bad Uber ratings often stem from drivers who look at their phone, drive poorly or make the experience poor for its customers in one way or another.

New York, Los Angeles and Chicago are among the metropolitan areas that will add the new feature to the transportation company’s app.

Earlier this month, it was revealed that Wal-Mart is testing a grocery delivery service in partnership with Uber.

Additionally, the company recently announced that customers can schedule rides up to 30 days in advance.
