Leading the Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) rumor mill today is news of an AAPL employee mentioning the iPhone 8. Today, we’ll look at that and other Apple Rumors for Wednesday.

Apple Rumors, iPhone 8, 2017, AAPLiPhone 8 2017: An Apple employee claims that the iPhone 8 is coming in 2017, reports Business Insider. The employee, whose identity remain anonymous, told the publication that the next product in the company’s smartphone line is the iPhone 8. This would be a shakeup from its current system of releasing an “s” version of its smartphones between major updates. He met with a journalist outside of the tech company’s office in Herzliya, Israel for the discussion. The employee said he solders components for AAPL and that the iPhone 8 won’t be anything like the iPhone 6s or 7.

iOS 10 Surpasses iOS 9: Apple’s iOS 10 mobile operating system is now installed on more devices than iOS 9, MacRumors notes. A new report claims that 48.16% of the company’s mobile devices are now running iOS 10. This means that it just beats out the 47.79% of devices that are still using iOS 9. Another 4.06% are still using iOS 8. The speed of adoption for iOS 10 is in line with adoption rates for iOS 9 when it was released.

British Headquarters: Apple is planning to open a new headquarters in Great Britain, reports AppleInsider. The new headquarters will be located inside the Battersea Power Station. The power station was built during the 1930s and continued to be used until 1983. The location is being renovated and it will be used to house 1,400 of the tech company’s employees that are spread across eight offices in London. AAPL expects to have the building ready for its employees by 2021.
