More than 790,000 users who are signed up to the porn address have been exposed by cyberattackers. The vBulleting software that Brazzers uses for its chat forum is where the hackers likely tapped into a flaw and compiled this information.

The forums are usually used for users to comment on their favorite scenes and performers. The site has responded swiftly, announcing that it is making moves to protect its users’ privacy and fend off hackers.

Brazzers is currently under construction as it looks to control the situation. Information breached includes usernames, passwords and email addresses–all released in plain text.Vigilante.pw reported the move, which is a website that reports these types of data breaches. Although the information is only being released now, the cyberattack initially took place in 2013.A spokesperson for the company made it clear that the vulnerabilities were associated solely with the forums and not with the actual website. The incident is similar to a Brazzers breach that exposed its forums in 2012.

“That resulted in a small portion of our user accounts being exposed and we took corrective measures in the days following this incident to protect our users.”

Security researcher Troy Hunt commented on the matter, noting that forum administrators have done a poor job of improving the website’s security, leaving some patches open to exposure.
