apple-ipod-touch-rumors-aapliPod: Rumors claim that Apple (AAPL) will be releasing a new iPod Touch in 2015, reports Breathecast. Rumors concerning a new iPod Touch surfaced after the company didn’t announce it at their Oct. 16 press event. These rumors calim the device will release in the first quarter of 2015. There are also rumors that Apple is working on two different versions of the device. These rumors claim that the tech company will release two different screen sizes for the next generation of the iPod Touch.

iPad: Apple’s iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3 can’t be used for tap-to-pay with Apple Pay, AppleInsider notes. While the devices do have an NFC chip for Pay, it can only be used for apps. This is due to the lack of antenna or logic board that would allow the devices to be used at physical point of sale terminals. However, a workaround to this is to use the devices to pay for a service or good through the seller’s app. This isn’t available at all stores, but some do allow it.

Adoption: The rate at which Mac users are adopting OS X Yosemite is outpacing the previous operating system, reports MacRumors. In its first week of being available, 12.8% of Mac users have upgraded to Yosemite. In comparison, 12.4% of Mac users updated to Mavericks after it had been available for a week. Yosemite is free to download and works with Macs that could run Mountain Lion or Mavericks.
