Amazon.com, Inc. (AMZN) may be getting ready to launch more Amazon Dash buttons.
A report claims that the online retailer is preparing to release a new wave of Amazon Dash buttons for different brands and products. It’s believed that an announcement about the buttons will be made sometime this week.
The recent report claims that the new wave Amazon Dash buttons will include dozens more of the devices. However, research data shows that less than half of the customers that have bought the buttons actually use them to make orders, reports The Wall Street Journal.
Amazon Dash buttons allow customers to order certain products from different brands with the push of a button. The devices connect to a home’s Wi-Fi network and send notifications about orders made to make sure there’s no accidental purchasing.
