Here are your Apple Rumors for today:

Apple Rumors, iPhone 7, Home Button, Force Touch, AAPLLightning: Apple (AAPL) supplier Cirrus Logic, Inc. (NASDAQ:CRUS) is betting on Lightning headphones for the iPhone 7, reports MacRumors. The company has released a development kit to help makers of iPhone accessories easily create headphones that are plugged in via a Lightning port. The kit includes documents with reference design and other aspects. AAPL officially launched its own Lightning references for accessory makers in 2014, but not many have released headphones with a Lightning connector.

Home: Rumors claim that Apple’s iPhone 7 will have a new Home button, BusinessInsider notes. This rumor claims that AAPL will be replacing the physical Home button found on previous versions of the iPhone with a Force Touch one. This would have the button sitting flush with the front shell of the iPhone 7, which would help give it a sleeker design over past iPhone lines. Sources claim that new Home button will use Force Touch to still give users the feel of clicking a physical button.

EarPod: A couple of recently leaked images appear to show Apple EarPod headphones with a Lightning connector, reports 9to5Mac. The leaked images were posted to Chinese social media website Weibo and they appear to confirm rumors that the tech company will be ditching the 3.5mm headphone jack with its newest smartphone. One image shows the EarPod headphones with the plastic cover over the Lightning connector and the other shows the connector without the plastic covering it.
