The invitations simply states “See you on the 7th.” The tech company hasn’t confirmed that it will show off the iPhone 7 at the event, but it has launched its new iPhone devices via September events for the last five years. Rumors also claim that an updated version of the Apple Watch will also be shown off at the September 7 event. A possible update to the MacBook line could also make an appearance at the event.
Case: Smartphone case maker Spigen has released its line of iPhone 7 cases, 9to5Mac notes. The reveal of the new cases comes on the heels of Apple’s September 7 event, which adds to the idea that the iPhone 7 will be shown off during it. The new cases revealed by Spigen have been redesigned to fit the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. The case maker offers hard cases for protection, slim cases, invisible cases and even some that have a compartment in the back for holding a credit card or money.
Specs: A leak containing detailed specs for Apple’s iPhone 7 and 7 Plus has been posted online, reports BGR. According to this leak, the iPhone 7 will be a 4.7-inch device with an A10 processor, 2GB of RAM, a 1,960 mAh battery and a 12-megapixel rear camera. The leak also claims that this iPhone will include better water and dust resistance. The leaks claims that the iPhone 7 Plus will be a 5.5-inch device with 3GB of RAM, a 2,910 mAh battery and dual 12-megapixel rear cameras. It doesn’t mention the processor for the iPhone 7 Plus, or if it has improved water and dust resistance.
