Leading the Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) rumor mill today is an image of the iPhone X box. Today, we’ll look at that and other Apple Rumors for Monday.
iPhone X Box: A new image from Apple shows off the box for the iPhone X, reports BGR. The image of the iPhone X box can be seen on the company’s website. It is on the page for the iPhone Upgrade Program. The box has an image of the front of the iPhone X on it. This is different from the boxes for the iPhone 8 line, which show the rear of those devices. This was likely done to make the box stick out and show the major changes made to the smartphone’s display.
TrueDepth Camera: A new report claims that it will take some time for AAPL’s rivals to catch up with its TrueDepth Camera, MacRumors notes. This report comes from KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. In his report to investors, Kuo claims that it will take Android devices 2.5 years before they release a camera that can compete with AAPL’s TrueDepth Camera. This gives the tech company a strong lead over its rivals, despite delays for the iPhone X.
Watch 3 LTE: Some Apple Watch Series 3 owners are having LTE troubles, reports 9to5Mac. Owners of the device overseas claim that they can’t get it to connect to wireless carrier EE’s LTE. This is a problem as EE is the only carrier in the area that supports the feature. The carrier says that it is aware of the issue and is investigating. EE is requesting customers to contact them directly if they have issues with the Watch’s LTE.
