According to this rumor, the tech company will be able to meet production demand for the device as parts for it become easier to create. This news comes from an insider in the device’s supply line. However, it contradicts reports from analysts and other insiders. Many have been warning that production delays will keep the iPhone X from meeting demand until 2018.
iPhone X Interest: There may not be as many people wanting to buy the iPhone X as Apple hopes, BGR notes. A look through the the subreddit for the company includes post from users that have concerns about the high price of the iPhone X. The device will start at $999 for the 64GB version. Many people on the forum claim that the price is too high and are opting for other devices. This includes buying an iPhone 8 instead, but some are switching to rival products. We’ll have a better idea of interest for the iPhone X when AAPL releases its earnings reports for the fiscal first and second quarters in 2018.
iMessage Bug: Some Mac users are having trouble getting their messages, reports AppleInsider. The issue appears to be connected to macOS High Sierra as it wasn’t present on the previous version of the operating system. This problem makes it so that messages sent via text and iMessage get delayed. There are also claims that notifications from mobile devices aren’t showing up properly either. Apple will likely fix the issue in a future update.
