Thursday Apple Rumors: Customers Are Lining Up for the iPhone X

Leading the Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) rumor mill today is news of lines growing outside of Apple Stores. Today, we’ll look at that and other Apple Rumors for Thursday.

iPhone X Lines: Customers wanting to get their hands on the iPhone X are lining up outside Apple Stores, reports MacRumors. These customers are hoping to be lucky enough to buy an iPhone X when it launches on Nov. 3. The tech company has confirmed that there will be units available at its retail stores tomorrow. However, it is warnings customers to line up early if they want one. Supplies are likely incredibly limited, if supply chain rumors are to be believed.

iPhone X Shipments: Customers that have preordered the iPhone X are getting some good news, AppleInsider notes. Several customers with preorders for the iPhone X are seeing their shipping times decrease. Some of these customers were previously going to have to wait weeks for the new smartphone to come in. However, many are now only seeing wait times of a week before the device reaches them.

2018 iPhone: A new rumor claims the 2018 iPhone will keep the same camera lens as the iPhone X, reports 9to5Mac. According to this rumor, Apple will be keeping the six element rear lens for its new devices in 2018. It’s likely that the company is doing this to avoid further supply issues, like what it is currently experiencing with the iPhone X. The rumor also notes that an upgrade for the lens wouldn’t result in much of a quality improvement.
