The Destiny beta for Sony (SNE) PlayStation 4 is here and there is plenty to be excited about with the new Bungie game.

The beta has four story chapters, four competitive multiplayer maps and a co-operative Strike mission. Another striking aspect of the Destiny beta is the fact that the voice of the companion Ghost — voiced by Peter Dinklage — is much more robotic than in the alpha.
Overall, the beta looks more polished than the alpha and it reveals more of the game’s narrative. There are cut-scenes and narratives around each mission that expands more on the game’s different characters and worlds.
The upcoming online action role-playing game is one of the most anticipated games of the year. A number of fans were unable to download the Destiny beta due to a high load of PS4 users attempting to download it.
Destiny is slated for a September 9 release. The game will be available for PlayStation 3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
SNE stock is up about 0.8% Friday afternoon.
