Lawsuit: A class action lawsuit has been filed against Apple (AAPL) over graphic issues found in the 2011 MacBook Pro, reports MacRumors. The lawsuit comes after a petition on change.org concerning the issue got 20,000 signatures. The graphic problem has shown up in 15-inch and 17-inch versions of the 2011 MacBook Pro. Owners that have experienced the problem claim that it’s a hardware defect and that Apple should cover the cost of fixing or replacing the affected devices. The lawsuit is being handled by Bryson & Mason LLP, which announced it was looking into the situation in August.

Office

: A new rumor claims that Microsoft (MSFT) Office will be getting an upgrade to take advantage of Retina displays, AppleInsider notes. The rumor is based on documents that are claimed to have came from an internal meeting at Microsoft. According to the documents, Office for Mac will get an update that will bring it closer to the Windows version of the software. Apple’s Mac line hasn’t seen an upgrade to Office since 2010 and the update would add several new features to the Mac version of the software.

Watch: According to Apple CEO Tim Cook, the Apple Watch will be used so much that owners will have to charge it on a daily basis, reports BGR. Cook said that the company was still studying how people will use Watch, but that it will need to be charged daily. News that the watch would need daily charging isn’t new, but this mention by Cook acts as a reminder that Apple either hasn’t figured out how to expand its battery life or doesn’t plan to. The device is expected to be released in early 2015.
