Google Translate (NASDAQ:GOOG) is expanding, adding plenty of new languages.
The service and app has more than 20 new languages that you can access in video text translation. The Google Translate update also makes it smoother and the visual translation is more powerful.
You can now translate to and from English in the following languages:
- Bulgarian
- Catalan
- Croatian
- Czech
- Danish
- Dutch
- Filipino
- Finnish
- Hungarian
- Indonesian
- Lithuanian
- Norwegian
- Polish
- Romanian
- Slovak
- Swedish
- Turkish
- Ukrainian
The app already included French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish.
Users can now translate 37 languages via photo, 32 via voice, and 27 through real-time video. Speed-to-speech translation in real time is also easier now for users who have a slow connection.
Google Translate processes 100 billion words across the globe on a daily basis. 95% of those interactions take place outside the US.
GOOG stock is up 0.28% Wednesday.
