Basic materials stocks remained flat so far on Monday on Wall Street.

More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed 0.2%, the Nasdaq increased 0.2% and the S&P 500 pushed 0.2% higher.

• Grupo Simec S.A. De C.V. (SIM): SIM stock is up 3.5% today.

• Chemtura Corp (CHMT): CHMT stock is up 2.6% today.

• Kapstone Paper and Packaging Corp (KS): KS stock is up 1.8%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Green Plains Renewable Energy (GPRE): GPRE stock is up 1.7% today.

• Watts Water Technologies (WTS): WTS stock is up 1.2%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Lyondellbasell Industries Nv (LYB): LYB stock is up 0.9%, marking the fifth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Packaging Corporation of America (PKG): PKG stock is up 1.0% today.

• Intrepid Potash Inc (IPI): IPI stock is up 0.9%, marking the fifth consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Schweitzer-Mauduit International (SWM): SWM stock is up 0.9%, marking the fifth consecutive day the stock has increased.

Some of the biggest losers among basic materials stocks include:

• Pohang Iron & Steel Co. (PKX): PKX stock is down 2.7% today.

• Century Aluminum Company (CENX): CENX stock is down 2.6% today.

• Cliffs Natural Resources Inc (CLF): CLF stock is down 2.3%, marking the eighth consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• United States Steel Corp (X): X stock is down 2.1% today.

• Teck Resources Ltd (TCK): TCK stock is down 1.9%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• Vale S.A. (VALE): VALE stock is down 1.6% today.

• Hecla Mining Company (HL): HL stock is down 1.6%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has decreased.

• New Gold Inc (NGD): NGD stock is down 1.6% today.

• Commercial Metals Company (CMC): CMC stock is down 1.6% today.

• Gerdau S.A. (GGB): GGB stock is down 1.6% today.
