More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average pushed 0.2% higher, the Nasdaq increased 0.5% and the S&P 500 pushed 0.2% higher.
Some of the biggest gainers among transportation stocks include:
- Amerco (UHAL): UHAL stock is up 0.8% today.
- Dryships Inc (DRYS): DRYS stock is up 0.7%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has increased.
- Teekay Shipping Corp (TK): TK stock is up 0.4% today.
- Southwest Airlines Company (LUV): LUV stock is up 0.3% today.
- Grupo Aeroportuario Del Pacifico (PAC): PAC stock is up 0.2% to a new 52-week high of $61.61.
- Navios Maritime Partners LP (NMM): NMM stock is up 0.2% today.
- Alexander and Baldwin Inc (ALEX): ALEX stock is up 0.2%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.
Some of the biggest losers among transportation stocks include:
- Latam Airlines Group Sa (LFL): LFL stock is down 2.0% today.
- Greenbrier Companies (GBX): GBX stock is down 1.7%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.
- Old Dominion Freight Line (ODFL): ODFL stock is down 1.3% today.
- Hub Group (HUBG): HUBG stock is down 1.0% today.
- Ship Finance International (SFL): SFL stock is down 0.9% today.
- GATX Corp (GMT): GMT stock is down 0.9% today.
- Taminco Corporation Common Stoc (TAM): TAM stock is down 0.9% today.
- Seacor Smit Inc (CKH): CKH stock is down 0.8%, marking the fourth consecutive day the stock has decreased.
- American Railcar Industries (ARII): ARII stock is down 0.8% today.
- Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII): HII stock is down 0.7% today.
