The 40-year-old is selling the Rational Group — the parent company of PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker — to Amaya Gaming for $4.9 billion. Scheinberg’s father is currently under indictment in the U.S. for allegedly violating the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act.

Mark Scheinberg is the CEO of the Rational Group and he owns 75% of the company. Amaya will pay shareholders $4.5 billion and an additional $400 million deferred over three years if a certain level of performance is met.
