Facebook’s Internet.org app is only available in Zambia and through the Airtel mobile network. The app works for Android phones and allows users to access several apps without using data. The app is designed to help bring technology to developing countries and is planned to be released in more areas in the future.

“With this app, people can browse a set of useful health, employment and local information services without data charges,” Guy Rosen, Product Management Director at Facebook, said in a statement. “By providing free basic services via the app, we hope to bring more people online and help them discover valuable services they might not have otherwise.”

Apps that can access the basic internet offered by the Internet.org app include the following:

  • AccuWeather
  • Airtel
  • eZeLibrary
  • Facebook
  • Facts for Life
  • Google (GOOG) Search
  • Go Zambia Jobs
  • Kokoliko
  • Mobile Alliance for Maternal Action
  • Messenger
  • Wikipedia
  • Women’s Rights App
  • Zambia uReport
