aapl-appleSwatch: A new rumor claims that Apple (AAPL) may be working with Swatch for the design of multiple versions of the rumored iWatch, reports MacRumors. These rumors claim that a possible Swatch (SWGAY), Apple team up would allow the company to release a wide variety of iWatches that could match the lifestyle and fashion choices of several different groups of people. The rumor also claims that the tech giant may team up with Timex to create different versions of the iWatch.

Patent: A patent application filed with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office by Apple suggests that the company is working on new ways to control iOS devices, AppleInsider notes The patent filing, which is titled “Method and Apparatus for Automatically Adjusting the Operation of Notifications Based on Changes in a Physical Activity Level”, mentions changing the state of the device based on the actions of the person using it. The patent notes the ability to put a device into “Do Not Disturb” mode when it detects that the person in possession of it is exercising.

Payment: A current rumor claims that Apple may be working on its own mobile payment system, reports Ubergizmo. This rumor suggests that the company is looking to team up with Visa (V) to create a mobile payment system that would supposedly launch in October. This would put the release of the rumored service at around the same time of the supposed launch of iOS 8. It’s believed that the Touch ID and Secure Enclave features found on Apple’s mobile devices could be used for a mobile payment method.
