Here are your Apple rumors and AAPL news items for today:

daily apple rumors AAPLCamera: A 3D render that may be of Apple’s (AAPL) iPhone 6 gives a more detailed look at the device’s camera, reports AppleInsider. The 3D render gives a possible look at the iPhone 6’s rear camera lens, which is sticking out of the device. The rear camera doesn’t stick out much –less than 1 mm– and it may not even be for the iPhone 6. Fifth-generation iPods had a rear camera that stuck out from the device. Adding to the iPod theory is the fact that the 3D render doesn’t show any transparent material on the device, which suggests it doesn’t have much need for an antenna.

RAM: Apple’s second-generation iPad Air may be getting more RAM than what the previous generation had, MacRumors notes. News that the new device could get a boost in memory comes from a news website in Taiwan. The website claims that the second-generation iPad Air will have 2 GB of RAM. The previous generation of the iPad Air was only equipped with 1GB of RAM. The news website also claims that he second-generation Retina iPad mini will continue to come with 1GB of RAM.

Resolution: Data found inside the Xcode 6 Software Development Kit suggest that the iPhone 6 may have a resolution of 414 x 736. Due to how the Software Development Kit lists data, the listed resolution is actually half or a third of what users will see when using the device. This means that the upcoming iPhone 6 could have a resolution of 828 x 1472 or 1242 x 2208. These resolutions would allow the next-generation iPhone to remain at a 16:9 ratio, which would allow users to continue watching widescreen videos.
