The report is based on information from sources that are close to the company’s plans. Instead, the media event will reportedly have the company introducing new iPads, iMacs and OS X Yosemite. This doesn’t mean that a Retina MacBook Air isn’t possibly in the works at Apple, it just means it likely won’t be showed off this week.

Penalty: If suppliers choose to leak information regarding Apple’s upcoming devices, they face a huge penalty, BGR notes. According to a court filing for the bankruptcy of GT Advanced Technologies, the tech company fines any supplier that leaks information regarding upcoming devices $50 million. The court filings have offered insight to the relationship that Apple has with its suppliers and more is expected to be discovered as additional information regarding GT Advanced Technologies’ bankruptcy becomes available.

iPad: Images of what is claimed to be a logic board from Apple’s upcoming iPad Air 2 have been leaked, reports AppleInisder. According to the leaked information, the iPad Air 2 will use an A8 processor and have 2 GB of RAM. The A8 processor lable seen on the logic board reads “A8X.” The A8 processor was first used with the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus and its possible that the chip being used in the new iPad is a more powerful variant of that chip.
