This report claims that chip makers are ramping up production in preparation for Watch. The report also claims that orders for the upcoming smartwatch are between 30 million to 40 million. iPad: A new report claims that Apple’s iPad Pro won’t be entering production until the second quarter of 2015, MacRumors notes. This rumor claims that the rumored 12.9-inch tablet was run into manufacturing issues that will push its production back. The rumored issue at hand is the time it takes to create the new displays. A previous report claimed that the tech company was delaying the iPad Pro’s December production date due to focus on creating more of the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.

Sapphire: A patent filed with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office by Apple shows off one way that the company may look to attach sapphire glass to its iPhones, reports AppleInisder. The patent, which was filed in May 2013, shows off a system that would potentially allow the company to use sapphire glass on the displays of its iPhones. Some of the methods shown in the patent would have the device connected without the use of an adhesive. This would help cut down on the thickness of the company’s devices. There are several illustrations included with the patent to show how this would be achieved.
