Market: Apple’s (AAPL) market capitalization reached $700 billion on Tuesday, reports BGR. This has the tech company now being more valuable than all of Russia’s stock market. This has reminded some of when Nokia (NOK) reached $250 billion in 1999 and NASDAQ started to fall. However, the difference in this case is that Apple has a price-earnings ratio of 19. Nokia had a price-earnings ratio of 70. For the two cases to be the same, the tech company would need a value of $2 trillion instead of $700 billion.

Search: Google (GOOG) and Apple’s deal regarding search and map data for Safari will end in 2015, MacRumors notes. The two companies last singed a search and map contract in 2011, but it’s possible that another search engine could step in to take Google’s place this time around. One of the top contenders for the contract is Yahoo (YHOO). Yahoo already provides the company stock data for iOS. Microsoft (MSFT) is another possibility as its Bing search engine is what powers Siri.

Scratches: Scratchgate may be Apple’s next big problem related to its iPhone 6 and 6 Plus smartphones, reports AppleInsider. Several owners of iPhone 6 and 6 Plus devices have taken to the company’s support forums to complain of scratches on their screens. These users complain that the display glass on the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus is more prone to scratching when compared to previous models of the smartphone. It’s unknown what type of glass is used in for the iPhone 6 display and why it may be easier for these scratches to appear. It’s possible that the devices are easier to scratch due to the curved display glass and the lack of a bezel edge.
