- Cameco Corp (CCJ): CCJ stock is up 0.8% today.
- Crown Cork & Seal Company (CCK): CCK stock is up 0.7%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.
Some of the biggest losers among basic materials stocks include:
- Yamana Gold (AUY): AUY stock is down 6.1% today on 2 times normal volume.
- Barrick Gold Corp (ABX): ABX stock is down 6.2% today.
- New Gold Inc (NGD): NGD stock is down 4.1% today.
- Compania Mina Buenaventura S.A. (BVN): BVN stock is down 4.7% today.
- Agnico-Eagle Mines Limited (AEM): AEM stock is down 3.1% today.
- Alcoa Inc (AA): AA stock is down 2.7% today.
- Actuant Corp (ATU): ATU stock is down 2.1%, marking the sixth consecutive day the stock has decreased.
- Balchem Corp (BCPC): BCPC stock is down 2.0% today.
- Carpenter Technology Corp (CRS): CRS stock is down 1.3% today.
- Celanese Corp (CE): CE stock is down 1.0% today.
