Disney (DIS) CEO Robert Iger, announced on Thursday, that the company is working on Toy Story 4.
Iger revealed that Toy Story 4 was in the works during an earnings call with investors. The CEO didn’t announce any news regarding the return of voice actors for the film, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t anything known about the upcoming movie, reports Entertainment Weekly.
Here are a few things we already know about Toy Story 4, as collected from Entertainment Weekly.
- John Lasseter will be directing the film.
- The script is being written by Rashida Jones and Will McCormack.
- The idea behind the film came from Lasseter, Andrew Stanton, Pete Docter and Lee Unkrich.
- Lasseter says that it will be a love story that picks up after Toy Story 3.
- The idea for Toy Story 4 was conceived two years ago.
