T-Mobile (TMUS) CEO John Legere believes that the Apple (AAPL) Watch will have huge ramifications for wearable tech.

Legere claims that the Apple Watch will cause wearable tech to go beyond a niche market and make it mainstream. The T-Mobile CEO doesn’t believe that we’ll see how big the smartwatch will be until after 2015, reports Business Insider.

Current reports and rumors place the Apple Watch as having an early 2015 release date. The exact costs of the device is unknown, but it’s believed that it will be somewhere around $350, Business Insider notes.

The Apple Watch making wearable tech mainstream wasn’t Legere’s only prediction for 2015. The T-Mobile CEO also believes that the tablet market is going to be eaten up by the phablet market. He believes the phablet market will see a 50% increase in 2015.
