Tesla Motors (TSLA) is testing out a battery swap station for owners of its Model S.

The battery swap station for Tesla Model S owners is located across the road from the supercharger station in Harris Ranch, California. The program will allow owners of the electric vehicle to have their battery switched out in three minutes.

The cost of swapping a Tesla Model S battery out will be less than a full tank of gas. If an owner of the company’s car wants to take advantage of the battery swap station, they have to call in ahead of time and schedule an appointment.

Customers that take advantage of the battery swap station don’t just get to keep the new batteries. Instead, they must return for their additional battery or possibly face a fee, reports Ars Technica.

TSLA shares were up 1% as of Monday afternoon.
