Apple (AAPL) is now selling unlocked iPhone 6 or 6 Plus smartphones.

The unlocked iPhone 6 and 6 Plus smartphones being sold by Apple don’t come with a SIM card. Those who buy the phone will have to get a SIM card from elligable carrier, which include Verizon (VZ), AT&T (T),
T-Mobile (TMUS) and Sprint (S), reports CNN Money.
Those looking to get their hands on an unlocked iPhone 6 or 6 Plus will have to shell out a minimum of $650. The unlocked iPhones come four months after the release of the locked versions. Owners of the smartphones can use them with local carriers when travelling abroad, CNN Money notes.
Apple fans looking to purchase an unlocked iPhone 6 or 6 Plus can find them at the company’s Apple Stores and on its online store.
