The promotion offered iTunes users of the service a free single every week and sometimes offered multiples in different genres. The tech company hasn’t said why it stopped the promotion, reports Fast Company.

The iTunes Free Single of the Week promotion started back in 2004. While the free singles promotion is gone, there is still free music on the service. The company is offering free streams of albums via its iTunes Radio, Fast Company notes.

Those looking to replace the iTunes Free Single of the Week promotion with more free music are in luck. Cnet has collected a list of other services that offer free music downloads.

  • Freegal — This service works with select libraries to offer card carriers free music downloads every week.
  • Google (GOOG) Play — Google Play has been bringing free albums to users recently.
  • Amazon (AMZN) — The online retailer offers quite a bit of free music with most of it coming from indie artists.
