Facebook (FB) CEO Mark Zuckerberg has started a book club on the social media service.
The new Facebook book club, called “A Year of Books”, was announced by Mark Zuckerberg on his Timeline. The book club is a way for others to follow him on his New Year’s challenge for 2015.
Here are a few things to know about Mark Zuckerberg’s Facebook book club.
- A Year of Books has over 151,000 Likes as of Monday, Jan. 5, 2014.
- The book club will be reading a book every two weeks.
- The first book on the reading list is The End of Power by Moisés Naím.
- The focus of the book club is learning about “new cultures, beliefs, histories and technologies.”
- Facebook users can suggest books for the club and can talk about assigned books on the page.
