Yosemite: Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) has released a new update for OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 to fix errors with the operating system, reports AppleInsider. The supplemental update for Yosemite fixes a graphics driver issues that could occur when the device is starting up. The bugs could actually prevent Macs using OS X 10.10.3 from starting up at all. It was associated with trying to capture video while using certain apps on the device.
Packaging: Apple has teamed up with The Conservation Fund for sustainable packaging for its products, 9to5Mac notes. The deal has the tech company buying up 36,000 acres of forest located in Maine and North Carolina. Apple will set up a plan so that it can use these forest for its packaging while still keeping them as forests. The deal will also have the company making sure it protects the habitats of wildlife in the area, such as Atlantic salmon, bald eagles and Canada lynx.
Pro: A new case that is claimed to be for Apple’s rumored iPad Pro has shown up online, reports MacRumors. This newly leaked iPad Pro case has a tri-fold design and a soft, cloth cover on it. The case also has holes for top- and bottom-mounted speakers, which is one rumored feature of the tablet. It also has holes for a rear-facing camera, volume buttons, a charging outlet and a lock button. There’s also a hole on the side for what could be a place to insert SIM cards into the device. The complexity of the recently revealed case could mean that the rumored iPad Pro is closer to being finished.
