- Mrc Global Inc (MRC): MRC stock is up 2.3% today and up 21.4% in the last month.
- United States Steel Corp (X): X stock is up 3.3% today.
- Olin Corp (OLN): OLN stock is up 3.4% today.
- Sensient Technologies Corp (SXT): SXT stock is up 2.9% today.
- Pan American Silver (PAAS): PAAS stock is up 3.2% today.
- Copene-Petroquimica Do Nordeste (BAK): BAK stock is up 4.2% today.
- Owens-Illinois (OI): OI stock is up 2.5% today.
- Terra Nitrogen Company L.P. (TNH): TNH stock is up 2.7% today.
Some of the biggest losers among basic materials stocks include:
- Syngenta Ag (SYT): SYT stock is down 6.6% today.
- Sinopec Shangai Petrochemical Company Ltd (SHI): SHI stock is down 4.1% today.
- Westlake Chemical Corp (WLK): WLK stock is down 2.8%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.
- Berry Plastics Group Inc (BERY): BERY stock is down 2.2% today.
- Innophos Holdings (IPHS): IPHS stock is down 1.4% today.
- Sociedad Quimica Y Minera S.A. (SQM): SQM stock is down 1.2% today.
- Newmont Mining Corp (NEM): NEM stock is down 0.5% today.
- Hudbay Minerals Inc (HBM): HBM stock is down 1.2% today.
- Monsanto Company (MON): MON stock is down 0.7% today.
- Gerdau S.A. (GGB): GGB stock is down 0.7% today.
