Game of 72 is a challenge that teenagers are allegedly giving each other. The idea behind the game is that teens try to disappear for 72 hours without contacting any friends or family. Points are distributed based on how much panic the disappearing teen can cause, reports Yahoo Parenting.

Game of 72 is believed to have started in Europe. One girl in France went missing for three days and is believed to have been playing the game. Several police stations have posted warnings to parents about the game, Yahoo Parenting notes.

“To pretend to be missing, and to put someone through that, shows an incredible lack of common sense and regard for others,” Brian Montague, from the Vancouver Police Department, told The Province. “If someone causes a false police investigation to be launched, it could result in criminal charges.”
