Here are your Apple Rumors for today:

apple-rumors-ads-price-aaplSchool: Apple (AAPL) is expected to announce details concerning its Back to School program this week, reports MacRumors. Angela Ahrendts, the company’s retail chief, told employees that she would be revealing information related to the Back to School program in a video released last week. Nothing in her announcement to employees confirmed that there would be a Back to School program at all this year. The program typically launches in early July and includes discounts for students.

Storage: A new rumor claims that Apple may kill off its 16GB storage level in its new iPhones, Digital Trends notes. The rumor claims that the possible iPhone 6s and 6c that could be launched later this year will only included storage options of 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB. These rumors are based on what was said by unnamed Foxconn sources. It’s also possible that 16GB could be sticking around for the new iPhones. The recent update to the iPod Touch line still included 16GB devices.

Ads: Apple has filed a new patent that could change what ads its users see, reports Geek. The new patent describes a system that would allow the tech company to determine ads based on how much money a user has to spend. It would likely do so by tracking the person’s spending habits and bank account information via Apple Pay. This means that it could target ads to customers for products they could actually afford rather than those that are out of their reach. The system would likely still use browsing habits to determine a user’s interest before suggesting products to them.
