The launch of the Microsoft Surface Hub (NASDAQ:MSFT) has been announced.
Back in July, the company announced that it would delay its release. However, we now know the Microsoft Surface Hub conferencing system will begin shipping January 1, 2016.
The company began taking pre-orders on July 1. Microsoft planned on releasing the Surface Hub worldwide starting September 1 but it needed more time to manufacture it properly.
There are two versions of the device—a 55-inch, Intel Core i5-based Surface Hub that will go for $6,999, and a Intel Core i7-based 84-inch version that will sell for $19,999.
MSFT stock is up 0.4% Wednesday.
