Car: A new reports claims that the Apple (AAPL) Car will be ready by 2019, reports The Wall Street Journal. The publication cites unnamed people that are familiar with the company’s car project. It claims that AAPL has been in talks with government officials and that the 600-person team has been given approval to be tripled in size. The report claims that the first car that will be made by the company won’t be self driving. It’s possible that the 2019 date isn’t actually when the car will be released, but rather when it’s finalized.
Watch: Apple has released watchOS 2 to the public following a small delay, AppleInsider notes. The update to the Apple Watch had to be delayed from its original release date due to a bug found in it. The update can be downloaded via its iPhone app. The update also includes several new features for the smartwatch. One major update includes the ability to run apps natively on the device. It also includes a feature called “Time Travel” that allows users to spin the crown on the device to look at their future-planned events for that day.
TV: A video of the new Apple TV being unboxed has been posted online, reports 9to5Mac. The unboxing of the device shows off the new device and gives possible customers a good look at the new Siri Remote. The remote for the set-top box has six buttons on it. They include a Play/Pause button, volume buttons, a menu button, one button to return the user to the tvOS screen and a Siri button. The new device also includes an updated interface that is running on a custom version of iOS 9. Siri works with the device by allowing users to request a variety of data from the TV.
