Adobe Revel to Shut Down on Feb. 23, 2016

Adobe (ADBE) has announced that it will be shutting down Adobe Revel on Feb. 23, 2016.

adobe-revel-adbeAdobe Revel is being closed down in favor of the Adobe Creative Cloud Photography plan. The company said that this new plan has been well received and is asking Revel users to switch to it.

Adobe Revel users that are looking to switch to the Adobe Creative Cloud Photography plan can do so with the help of Lightroom. Users of the service can download their photos and videos from Revel and import them into Lightroom. Mobile users can also download Lightroom and import photos and videos into it.

Adobe is allowing customers to try the Adobe Creative Cloud Photography plan for free for 30 days. This gives Adobe Revel users a chance to test the service out before committing to it.The service gives users access to Lightroom CC, Photoshop CC and other Adobe tools so they can edit their photos and videos.
