Wednesday Apple Rumors: Apple Acquires 6 Mystery Companies in 2015

The tech company is now allowing customers to order the devices online and are set to show up at customer’s houses as early as Friday. Some stores have listed that the device is able to be picked up today. Accessories for the iPad Pro, including the Pencil and the Smart Keyboard, aren’t supposed to be available for purchase until sometime next week.

Store: Some Apple Stores are already selling iPad Pros to customers, 9to5Mac notes. Only a few select stores are listed as selling the new iPad Pro today and a lucky few customers may be able to get their hands on it by just walking in. A first look at the new tablet shows that its packaging looks very similar to that of the MacBook. There are also reportedly a few Stores that have limited supplies of the Pencil and Smart keyboard available for purchase.

Secret: Apple has acquired 15 companies in 2015, but not all of them are known, reports AppleInsider. The company’s acquisitions in 2015 were announced by CEO Tim Cook. However, only the names of nine of those company’s are known and some are still guesses. This means that there are at least six companies that have been acquired by AAPL that are still unknown. It’s possible that knowledge of these other companies could give insight into Apple’s future plans.
