LG has stopped selling its Watch Urbane 2nd Edition LTE after just six days.
LG said that it stopped selling the new Urbane smartwatch due to a hardware issue that was discovered late in testing. It didn’t say what exactly the issue was, but did note that it affected daily use of the device, reports Ars Technica.
“The hardware issue was related to a new advanced component that we had incorporated in the device that had never been used in an LG wearable device before,” LG told TechCrunch.
LG assures owners of the device that the problem won’t be of threat to them. It said it didn’t know if it would be able to salvage the launch and sell the new Urbane smartwatch again. There’s been no word of a recall on the device, Ars Technica notes.
