Sony Corp (ADR) (SNE) has released more information regarding the Sony PlayStation VR.

The new Sony PlayStation VR announcement was made via the official PlayStation blog. It was announced that the VR headset will be released in October of this year and that it will cost gamers $399.

The release included a detailed look at the appearance of the final version of the Sony PlayStation VR that will be sold to customers. There are also images showing all the different items that will come with the device, such as headphones, a power supply and more.

Sony apologized for how late the headset will be coming out; saying that it’s later than expected. However, it also mentioned that there are currently more than 230 developers working on content for the Sony PlayStation VR.
