Chatting through Facebook Messenger (NASDAQ:FB) just got better for those who value privacy above all.
There are certain conversations that should only be read by two people, and not even Facebook has the right to read it. This is now a reality through the company’s new Messenger option.
End-to-end encryption is being used for iOS and Android devices, ensuring that certain conversations are only read by you and your recipient, and only on one device per person.
You can also use the new Facebook Messenger feature to set a timetable on when the message can be read, and when it is no longer available.
FB stock is up 1.2% Friday.
