The new Sony Walkman was introduced at the IFA 2016 tech event being held in Berlin. The Walkman that was introduced is part of the company’s Signature Series line. It was introduced alongside new headphones and other audio devices.

“The Signature Series faithfully conveys the heart and soul that artists pour into their music, from the sublime resonance of an orchestra to the overflowing passion of a live concert,” the company said in a statement. “The new series pushes sound to an entirely new realm – taking the headphone experience from ‘listening’ to ‘feeling’ it.”

While audiophiles may be interested in the new Sony Walkman, they may want to hear the price of the device first. SNE is asking $3,200 for its new Walkman. The music playing device is made of copper and is plated in gold.

The new Sony Walkman is an updated version of the one released by the company last year. It is designed to play lossless audio files for serious music lovers. The new version also includes some changes to the body that are said to improve sound quality. However, this is likely only minor improvements.

There are also other changes that were made to the Sony Walkman with the update. The buttons stick out more to make them easier to press. The headphone jack has also been moved to the top of the device. The company has also updated its user interface, reports The Verge.
