The most recent jackpot from the lottery organization amounted to an incredible $420.9 million. The grand prize was drawn at the Tennessee lottery as a player won the cash in the small town of Lafayette.

The winner was announced Sunday in the small town that is about 60 miles northeast of Nashville. The city of Lafayette only has about 5,000 residents.

The winning numbers were 17-19-21-37-44 with the Powerball being 16 and the Power Play being 2. The person who won has yet to claim their prize, suggesting that perhaps the winner is still unaware of their fortune.

The man or woman matched all six numbers, beating out a North Carolina player who matched the first five numbers and the Power Play, netting $2 million. There were also Pennsylvania and Minnesota competitors who won $1 million apiece as they matched the first five numbers.

The Tennessee Lottery encourages the winner to sign the back of their ticket and keep it safe in order to avoid fraud. A total of 180 days are granted to the winner to come forward and claim the prize.

If they choose the lump sum option, their jackpot will amount to more than $243.8 million.

Tennessee has had some big winners in the past, with this ticket marking the 200th jackpot of at least $1 million in the southern state. A Munford, Tennessee group of three once shared a ticket that amounted to $1.6 billion.
