The tech company claims that the batteries found in select iPhone 6s models were exposed to air for longer than it should have been during the manufacturing process. This causes the batteries to degrade faster than normal. It is also the cause of devices shutting down at random.

Fake Chargers: A new report claims that 99% of fake Apple chargers are unsafe, BBC News notes. The study, which was conducted by Trading Standards, found that these fake chargers don’t have enough insulation to keep electric shock from occurring. The test included sending a strong charge through the chargers to test their insulation. The chargers were bought from eight different countries. The United States and China were among those countries that fake chargers were bought from.

Beta Update: A new beta for the iOS 10.2 update has been released, reports MacRumors. This is the fifth version of the update to be released for the upcoming mobile operating system. Several new features are coming in this update. This includes additional emoji, more music sorting options and more. AAPL is claiming that this will be the largest update it has ever released for iOS devices.
