Wednesday Apple Rumors: Apple Buys Photo Startup SpektralSpektral: A recent rumors claims that Apple secretly bought photo startup Spektral, reports 9to5Mac. According to this rumor, the acquisition actually took place back in December 2017. They also claim that the company spent more than $30 million to acquire the company. Spektral is a startup that creates software for cameras. Its most notable feature is being able to easily cut people and objects out from the rest of the picture. This allows for easy editing without the use of a green screen.

China Hack: The conflicting reports surrounding an alleged China hack into Apple’s business is still ongoing, AppleInsider notes. The claims have now caught the interest of NSA Senior Advisor Rob Joyce. Joyce is calling for those with knowledge about the alleged incident to come forward with their information. He says he has been unable to find corroboration that backs up the claims made in the China hack story.

Stardew Valley: Fans of the farm life simulator Stardew Valley will soon be able to play it on iOS devices. ConcernedApe, the developer of the game, announced today that the game will be coming to AAPL’s mobile devices on Oct. 24, 2018. Preorders also open today for the game and its costs $7.99. Stardew Valley players on the PC will be able to transfer their saves over to this version of the game via iTunes. There’s also an Android version in the works, but it doesn’t have a release date yet.
